BOMBANANA! controls and voice troubleshooting

A team can understand the manual and still lose because one player cannot move, speak, hear or click reliably. Run this checklist before the timer matters.

Pre-flight checks

  • Confirm the game window keeps mouse focus after Steam overlay, chat overlay or screen sharing.
  • Test push-to-talk and open mic in the same mode your team will use during the run.
  • Make sure every player knows how to stop moving or cancel an input if a command changes.
  • Keep one backup channel available, but do not use it to bypass the intended role restrictions during normal play.

Voice troubleshooting order

  1. Operating system.Check microphone permission, selected device and input level.
  2. Steam.Confirm Steam voice input/output devices match the OS.
  3. Game session.Test role voice restrictions inside the lobby, because external calls can hide the actual game behavior.
  4. Team rule.If the role cannot speak or hear, use only the agreed signal set for that role.
