Roles

BOMBANANA! roles guide

The three roles are not character flavor. They are the game's information architecture: each player owns a different part of the truth.

Operator

Blind role

Operates the bomb by touch and follows final commands. This player should describe tactile details and repeat every action before touching.

  • Do: repeat module, target and verb.
  • Do: stop when a detail does not match the instruction.
  • Do not: guess colors, symbols or rule meaning.
Translator

Deaf role

Sees the bomb and can speak commands, but should ask the manual holder one structured question at a time.

  • Do: control question order.
  • Do: compress answers into one safe instruction.
  • Do not: narrate the whole bomb while Blind is operating.
Manual

Mute role

Reads the manual and answers with fixed signals. This player is the brake whenever a condition is missing.

  • Do: signal YES, NO, WAIT, REPEAT and NUMBER clearly.
  • Do: interrupt unsafe assumptions.
  • Do not: invent new gestures during a timed round.
